Below are some great businesses and we want to help them help veterans (and others). There will be a note about each business about our experience(s) with the business and hope that you will check them out as well.
*Note: I created a separate page just to house the picture of the animals we have fostered. I recommend fostering to anyone that has the calling, the room and the patience to take care of sick, injured or abused animals to show these animals that there are good people that will love them unconditionally. Its a great cause and the returns are endless!

*Note: I have had the pleasure of watching these instructors teach and they are not only SME’s (Subject Matter Experts) in their fields, they have the passion and attention to detail while teaching. Their passion for their subjects are addictive to the students and their level of professionalism is such that they ensure each person has a full understanding of the subject before progressing with the course. I would recommend these guys for many avenues that they offer!

*Note: Zac photographed my entire wedding 7 1/2 years ago. He not only was professional, he was able to capture every moment of the entire wedding and his cost was the best in the area. His photographs were outstanding and he seemed to capture every important moment throughout the day. I would also recommend him as a photographer for any event.

*Note: Great business with a copious amount of experience with all things tactical. SME’s on tactics and firearm instruction throughout numerous weapon systems, environments and styles. I would recommend these gentlemen to those who wish to advance their skills with different firearms, tactics or all of the above. Great instructors!
Survival Tactical Systems (STS)
*Note: I had attended a yoga session 21 Aug 2016 (Sunday) at this Gloucester Yoga Studio and was very much pleasantly surprised. This studio accommodates for disabilities and does not place undue expectations upon the student and allows them to do what they can. This studio does chair yoga for those who cannot lay down or sit on a mat, as well as other accommodations specifically for those of us that are disabled. My disabilities run from head to toe, the worst being my lower, mid back and neck. I did what I could. If you are able to make to this studio, call in advance to let them know about your disabilities so that they can accommodate you even better. I would definitely recommend them.
“Yoga is a universal practice to increase awareness physically, mentally and spiritually. At Gloucester Yoga you will find an atmosphere welcoming to people from all walks of life and varying physical capabilities. The instructors will ensure that each individual is challenged, yet comfortable, in his or her poses and they will help guide you along your path as you discover yoga’s healing powers.
Practicing yoga has many benefits. For veterans recovering from or learning to live with their injuries, research has shown that yoga can increase energy, strength and balance while also improving concentration and emotional wellbeing. It also develops endurance, will power, confidence, and may result in better sleep. What is more, according to research it can help soldiers suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
In addition to yoga,Tai Chi is offered and it helps reduce stress and allows participants to improve their balance and coordination skills.
From chair yoga (wheel chair dependent individuals are welcome) to high energy Vinyasa, Gloucester Yoga has a class to complement your fitness level.
Visit www.gloucesteryoga.com for more information about classes, schedule, and instructors.”
